The school year only lasts nine months, but our ministry to children and their families lasts year round. Our summer program consists of two components.

Bible schools and Bible clubs are offered in parks around the city.  These programs are led by local churches as well as mission groups from outside Alabama.

In addition to Bible schools, M-POWER organizes a number of summer field trips. These trips are designed to allow children to see and experience things outside of the confines of their neighborhood. Past trips have included DeSoto Caverns, the McWane Center, and the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville. While these trips are fun, they are also educational experiences and opportunities our children might not otherwise have.
