37,000 women in Jefferson County
never graduated from high school.

M-POWER Christian Women's Job Corps exists to assist women in developing the values, attitudes, and skills necessary to to achieve their goals and break the cycle of poverty, be it financial or poverty of spirit.

CWJC partners with women to understand the complexity of poverty, to develop their spiritual, social, emotional, physical, economic, and vocational resources, and to nurture confidence and motivation. The program couples a 24 week classroom experience with a one year mentorship to help women move from dependency to self-sufficiency.
